Great eats! The prices are good for the food that is offered. Everything always has a consistent flavor that makes you want to return for another great meal.
I regularly get poke here and am always met with friendly and fast service, cleanliness, and delicious poke. The only downside is the small portion for the price but I would WAY rather support local than a chain! Also the poke options in Marina/Monterey are awful compared to Marina Poke House!
I come here very often, I've probably been here 20 times in the past year. The older lady doesn't give enough of the actual poké. One of the scoops she gave me today had like 3 pieces of tuna in it and an extra scoop is $4 . The only toppings I get everytime are green onions, seaweed salad and masago, so I feel I should be getting a heaping scoop like the others do. Otherwise it's the better place to get poké in Marina and after visiting Hawaii enough times it still satisfies my poké craving.
Health in a bowl! Marina's Poke House is my favorite poke restaurant in the Monterey Peninsula. They have the best toppings, most variety and fresh fish. I used to try other poke bowl joints in the area but have given up on the rest and now only frequent this Marina Poke House. Why mess with perfection? The service is always nice and they are also still taking safe precautions with COVID so it's take out only for the time being. I love them even more for doing what they can to keep us all healthy. Brown rice, white rice, sushi rice, mixed salad, cucumbers, onions, avocado, corn, edamame, tofu, delicious dishes, green onions, mango, pineapple, fried crunchy stuff, maguro fish eggs... they have it all! Definitely see you there.
